It is undeniable. Totally. Just look at that mug. That face. That fabulous face. Absolutely adorable — in an athletic way. And I don’t mean he looks like Bert Lahr the actor. I mean he is workin’ the whole freakin’ Cowardly Lion thing. Persona perfecta! The whole get-up, tail and all. The way he ribs the audience, how he gruffs and huffs with an abundance of cheeky charm and wit. Coquettishly delightful. Playfully spirited. It’s as if he is Cowardly Lion reanimated. Who knew?
